Verhoff Machine & Welding

     Verhoff Machine & Welding Inc. was founded in 1955 to service the Agricultural Industry. Since then, they have expanded to offer services to Industrial Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment, and the Military Industries under ISO 9001:2015 Certification. They offer onsite fabrication, installation, repair services, shape cutting, forming, cutoff, rolling, welding, cylinder expanding, machining, metal fabrication, and warehousing services.

     VM&W can take your project from ‘Idea to Reality in Short Order’. The time necessary for prototyping is reduced by closely linking their Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance departments. They have implemented state-of-the-art CAD-CAM programming in Engineering. Their team is experienced in all aspects of project design with advanced tools like Solid Works, AutoCAD, MasterCAM, and many others. The Quality Assurance department uses a Brown & Sharpe Global Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), including PC-DMIS software for full inspection recording. In addition, their Faro Edge Arms give fast and accurate data. The accompanying software renders all the data needed to show Engineering if any modifications are needed, including 3D drawings. They have several productive departments including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Press, Mill, Robot, Fabrication, Final Assembly, Paint, Blast, Shipping, Laser, and Waterjet and employ nearly 100 people on three different shifts.

      Verhoff Machine & Welding has two closely linked subsidiaries in Northwest Ohio: TGM Inc. (Bryan, Ohio) and ODL (Ottawa, Ohio). The joining of TGM and VM&W in 2012 has enhanced the growth and expansion of the CNC Vertical Milling and Lathe Machining capabilities for both organizations. Ottawa Defense Logistics (ODL) is a secure, environmentally controlled warehouse that can handle any warehousing, kitting, packaging, and assembly needs.

     VM&W is constantly watching the industry to learn the latest advances and techniques. In the fall of 2018, they installed a new Trumpf Fiber Laser and have recently become QX23 Ballistic Weld Certified in the spring of 2019.
