C. E. Kitchen Trucking, Inc.

Kitchen Family Trucking is a family of companies centered around the trucking and transportation industry. It all started with C.E. Kitchen Trucking in 1979 with just a couple of trucks and trailers down in southern Ohio. We joined PGT trucking in 1982 operating in West Portsmouth, OH. In 1994 the business relocated to Leipsic in northwest Ohio to service new steel processing facilities. We continue to be independent contractors and work exclusively for and have been partners with PGT Trucking for over 39 years. Today we have nearly 50 trucks in our fleet. We operate with mostly curtain-side and side-kit aluminum trailers, we have some open flatbeds and step deck's as well. We have a variety of axle configurations including 2 axle spread, 3 axle spread, 3 axle tridems, 4 axle spread, and 6 axle-9quad9's trailers. We pride ourselves in diversity and are able to provide transportation service to our customers with a variety of heavy-haul equipment options.

C&D Dispatch - We are agents for PGT Trucking Inc. and operate Terminals for PGT in Leipsic, OH and Dearborn, MI, and Cleveland, OH. We provide direct service to customers from the greater Lake Erie region including Ontario Canada, Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Northeast Indiana. We offer logistics services to our customers and brokerage options to our valued independent carriers. We specialize in flatbed deliveries and our primary commodity is steel products, hauling master and slit coils, sheets, and long steel. We also have open flatbeds that haul building materials. If it moves on a flatbed, we can generally take care of it. We have local dedicated routes, regional lanes, Over the Road, and Canadian compliant lanes of business.

C&D Truck Repair - Along with our trucking and dispatch services we also have a 14,400 square foot maintenance facility. This facility allows us to keep our equipment in top shape. We provide roadside assistance and replacement truck towing capabilities to get our drivers back moving when a breakdown does occur. We also provide outside services to our PGT independent contractors.
