Experience

Position Details: 

  • Teach a range of courses, such as 8th Grade Science, Biology, Anatomy, and Environmental/Agricultural Science.
  • Utilize an outdoor STEM lab available to enhance lessons, including garden plots, a pumpkin patch, a self-sustaining solar- and wind-powered shed, a campus arboretum with over 80 tree species, and various other hands-on outdoor activities.
  • Work with students in grades 7-12, fostering a love for science and inquiry-based learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a close-knit, supportive educational environment.
  • Contribute to a small but vibrant school community.

Qualifications Required:

  • Certification: Life Sciences or Integrated Science is preferred
  • Additional certification or expertise in Earth Science, Environmental/Agricultural Science, or related fields is a plus
  • Background Check: Applicant must pass BCI/FBI background check
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Career Level: Teacher Certificate/Licensure
