Exciting things are happening at Atalys Ottoville! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on 3rd shift.

The ideal maintenance technician candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of facilities through regular maintenance and repairs. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot various systems. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for all occupants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair of all production related equipment (i.e. mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic systems, and robots.)
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and facility equipment.
• Responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mechanical issues, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, heat exchangers, central chillers, and central water reclaim systems, manufacturing automation systems, and multi axis robotics.
• Ability to think critically and perform repairs in a timely manner. Able to recognize and recommend improvements to machine and/or cell layouts.
• Performs Barrel/Screw/Check Ring maintenance and Measurements.
• Individually responsible for a bank of molding machines and robotics which are audited daily.
• Responsible for adhering to all safety rules and always wearing proper PPE.
• May be responsible for training others or leading a team to perform a repair.
• Must provide basic tools to complete the job. Specialized tools will be provided.
