Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Set-Up CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/assist machine operators as needed.
• Perform necessary set-ups/tool changes/other machining operations as needed.
• Assist in training personnel on machining codes/safety procedures and company polices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Complete appropriate paperwork.
• Load/unload parts efficiently.

Skills

• Experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC machines.
• Previous set-up experience.
• Strong skills in using precision measuring instruments for quality control.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
