Kalida Local School District is seeking a strong educational leader to serve as Grades 7-12 Principal beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
The successful candidate should demonstrate strong personal and professional standards, be dedicated to academic excellence and have a high level of visibility and accessibility to the students, staff and the community.
Qualifications: The district is looking for an excellent educational leader who demonstrates initiative and has a track record of improving student achievement in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate must possess dynamic leadership skills; excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with students, parents, and staff; excellent organizational skills; the ability to apply critical thinking skills; and the ability to multi-task.
Administrative experience at the high school level preferred.
The candidate must possess a valid administrative license.
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
Ohio Principal Certificate or Principal License (Grades 7-12)/K-12 or Ohio
Previous high school experience is preferred.
Successful candidates must have the ability to provide an acceptable BCI/FBI background check.
Pay & Benefits: Pay and benefits competitive and commensurate with
qualifications and experience.
212 day contract (negotiable) to begin August 1, 2025. The ability to be available in June and July to facilitate any staff hiring would be beneficial.
