Position Overview: 

Kalida Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional to join our team. This part-time position supports the academic and behavioral success of students in a classroom environment. The successful candidate will work under the direction of certified teachers and assist in delivering one-on-one instructional and support services to students with identified needs.

Qualifications: 

● High school diploma or equivalent

● Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Ohio Department of Education Aide or Paraprofessional License ● Successful completion of a background check

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

● Providing one-on-one support for a student with identified needs in a classroom setting ● Assisting in the implementation of instructional activities under the supervision of the assigned teacher ● Provide student supervision, including supervision of activities such as recess duty, lunch duty, etc…

Work Schedule & Compensation: 

● Part-time schedule: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM

● Limited benefits available
