Job Title: Post-Frame Construction Laborer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Post-Frame Construction Laborer to join our construction crew. This position is responsible for assisting in the construction, repair, and maintenance of post-frame (pole barn) buildings for agricultural, residential, commercial, and suburban projects. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, basic construction knowledge, and the ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the framing and erection of post-frame structures including columns, trusses, purlins, and steel siding/roofing
- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns
- Load, unload, and organize materials at job sites
- Follow safety protocols and use PPE appropriately
- Measure, cut, and install building components according to blueprints and instructions
- Support crew in maintaining clean and safe work environments
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in construction preferred, especially post-frame or carpentry
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic math
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional weekends/overtime)
- Hourly wage based on experience
