SUMMARY
Services all loans in First National Bank’s loan portfolio, responds to customer inquiries, and assists in the preparation and processing of loan documents by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide excellent customer service to all Internal and External customers of FNB
Sets up new loans on computer system
Perform clerical duties essential to bank operations
Exception reporting/tracking
Services and maintains all loans in bank’s loan portfolio in accordance with bank policies and procedures (such as handling corrections, waivers, extensions, escrow, etc.)
Services Fannie Mae loans in the Bank’s portfolio
Adjusts/accepts payments on accounts
Enters Charge Off and Non-Accrual loan entries into the computer’s loan system
Computes interest and payments as required
Responds to customer inquiries and resolves customer problems
Processes paid off loans/satisfactions & releases
Tracks insurance coverage on collateral as required and corresponds or confers with customers insurance companies or agents
Processes/tracks and maintains all loan PMI, VSI, GAP, credit life and disability insurance and force placed payments
Handles EOY maintenance
Files, maintains and releases all loan collateral (UCCs, Titles and Mortgages)
Back-up imaging and loan filing
Submit and maintain information on SBA loans
Selling of Fannie Mae loans
Balance loan related general ledger accounts
Prepares monthly wire transfers of all participation loans
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree in business with concentration in finance, economics, or accounting; or high school diploma with four or more years related loan operations or lending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret loan documents, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, points, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting and finance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Working knowledge of computers such as word processing and spreadsheet software.
Working understanding of banking policies and procedures.
Good customer relations/service skills.
Fiserv core system experience preferred.
