Position:
Junior High English/Language Arts/Reading Teacher

Licensure Requirements:
Valid Ohio 4–9 Language Arts/Reading licensure required
Additional licensure in Math or Science is preferred

Qualifications:
● Hold or be able to obtain appropriate Ohio 4–9 teaching licensure
● Demonstrate a positive, creative, and collaborative approach to teaching
● Exhibit a strong commitment to student learning, achievement, and well-being
● Maintain a student-centered mindset that prioritizes the needs of all learners

Responsibilities:
● Deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction to students
● Collaborate effectively with school leadership, colleagues, students, parents, and the
Board of Education
● Contribute as an active and engaged member of a collaborative team
● Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment
● Support student accountability for behavior and academic expectations
● Partner with staff to support students’ social and emotional well-being
