POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for assisting the Engineering Manager with product and fixture design, development of new products, and any other day-to-day activities associated with engineering.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Product Design: Design and develop new products, maintain current production through continuous improvement and customer feedback, follow up with testing as needed
• Manufacturing Design: Consult with Manufacturing and other team members for changes, change designs to better fit manufacturing, follow up with testing as needed
• General: Maintain a safe working environment including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and compliance with all safety rules and established procedures, provide customer service support for agricultural and contract products, provide engineering support to Sales and Manufacturing, recommend changes or revisions to Product Owner’s Manuals, work with team members and other team leaders to maintain constant workflow, work with 5S management team and other team members to develop, implement & maintain 5S process as needed, provide a positive work environment and encourage team member feedback, any other duties as assigned
