ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain a safe working environment including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and compliance with all safety rules and established procedures.
• Support product and manufacturing design as needed.
• Train and mentor machine & saw area team members as required.
• Direct the manufacturing process, safety, maintenance, quality methods and procedures
• Has the authority to plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors
• Review and analyze production, quality, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of non-conformity with product specifications or production problems
• Aid in resolving tooling related problems.
• Design special tooling and fixtures as needed.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of spare tooling, details, and parts for all new existing tools, fixtures, and special equipment as needed
• Aid in machine programing and setup.
• Work with team members and other team leaders to maintain constant workflow.
• Work with 5S management team and other team members to develop, implement & maintain 5S process as needed.
