Kalida Local Schools – 7-12 Art Teacher Opening (2025-2026 School Year)

Kalida Local Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated 7-12 Art Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students in artistic expression, creativity, and aesthetic appreciation while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing students’ interest, talents, and skills in the visual arts.
• Implementing district-approved curriculum and creating engaging lesson plans.
• Encouraging artistic creativity while teaching fundamental and advanced artistic techniques.
• Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback to students, parents, and administration.
• Maintaining a safe and optimal learning environment for all students.
• Documenting student activities, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Ohio PK-12 Visual Arts License.
• Strong instructional skills and the ability to connect with students in grades 7-12.
• A passion for fostering creativity and artistic growth in students.
