Client Transportation Specialist

Summary

The Putnam County Department of Job and Family Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Client Transportation Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients have access to the services and appointments they need.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Operate small to medium-size motor vehicles to transport clients to and from various activities, including medical appointments, educational programs, job interviews, social security determination interviews, and foster care placements.
  • Maintain accurate logs of vehicular transports, recording locations, dates, and times of client transportation.
  • Complete associated paperwork promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure agency vehicles are fueled and ready for travel.
  • Perform miscellaneous clerical duties as needed.
Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and complete paperwork efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks.

PAY RANGE: 

$14.38 to $16.83 per hour
