Economic Development Intern
The Putnam County Community Improvement Corporation is seeking a motivated and creative intern to support marketing activities and community and business outreach efforts within our economic development office during the summer. This paid internship is ideal for a high school junior or senior, or a college student studying business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with marketing initiatives, including surveys, photos, videos, and content creation
Assist with sites and buildings inventory database
Represent the CIC at business and community events
Support staff with various administrative and outreach tasks
Qualifications:
Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about progress happening in Putnam County
Interest in business development, marketing, public relations, or related areas
Strong oral and written communication skills
Basic photography and video editing skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
