JOB DESCRIPTION:

Individual will be trained to gain/improve skills that will qualify them to be able to assist in panel build and machine wiring responsibilities for System Integration in the electrical machine building industry. In addition, proven trouble shooting skills are necessary. During your session individual will work with current experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience.

Individual will gain experience in:

• Blueprint Reading
• Electrical Engineering Aptitude

Position Background: 

At B-K Tool & Design, we find that this Co-Op experience is beneficial for those pursuing an Electrical Engineering Degree. This opportunity provides students an introduction to B-K and our process of automation solutions. Our preferred process for students studying electrical engineering is broken into two sessions. Once a student works in the electrical department for one session, we will do our best to coordinate a second rotation in our electrical design department. We and based on students’ feedback, find their experience on the floor prepares them for our designing department, while applying their electrical coursework, hands-on.
