Entry Level Manufacturing – Free Training and Coaching offered in Putnam County

Summary

This is a free training program offered by the Workforce Partnership of Putnam County.  The training consists of:

  • 40 hours of soft skill training – Includes resume writing, mock interviews, goal setting etc…
  • 40 hours of entry-level manufacturing skills – Includes online and hands-on labs.
  • 12 months of career coaching – The coach will help candidates through the training, job application, and job retention for 12 months.
  • An opportunity to earn an industry-recognized credential.

The training begins on 6/3/25 and is offered locally in Putnam County.  Past candidates include recent high school graduates, adults making a career transition, and participants with barriers to employment.

All past graduates have earned employment at Putnam County Manufacturers such as PRO-TEC, Whirlpool, Endera, PPI, PSI, KIM and Advanced Drainage Systems.

Participants should be 18 years old or older by 8/31/25
