Financial Specialist

Summary

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:             The Financial Specialist assists the Business Manager to implement the organization’s mission and values. The ideal Financial Specialist candidate will be energetic and dynamic, a highly self-motivated problem solver, flexible, detail oriented, and is a team player with time management skills, organizational skills, and leadership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience Requirements            

  1. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Must have Two (2) years of experience in accounting and auditing.
  3. Two (2) years of experience in fiscal management, preferred.
  4. Two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferred.
  5. Knowledge of State and Federal budget programs including Medicaid, preferred.
  6. Two (2) years of demonstrated leadership with primary responsibility for directing or leading in an effective specific purpose committee, preferred.
  7. Two (2) years of experience in the DD field, preferred.
