The Putnam County Council on Aging is seeking a full-time Grounds Maintenance / Chore Worker to assist older adults with seasonal indoor and outdoor maintenance. Responsibilities include trimming shrubs, maintaining flower beds, raking leaves, washing windows, cleaning gutters, shampooing carpets, general yard upkeep, and more. This role requires working both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other staff and volunteers to provide high-quality support to the older adults we serve.
Qualifications: We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and respectful, with a friendly attitude and able to work outdoors and handle active, physical tasks. Previous outdoor or landscaping experience is a plus but not required.
