Summary

Columbus Grove Local School District is seeking a strong educational leader to serve as Grades 7-12 Principal beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.

The successful candidate will demonstrate high personal and professional standards, a strong commitment to academic excellence, and the leadership skills necessary to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education.

Experience

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field
  • Valid Ohio Principal License for grades 7–12 (or ability to obtain appropriate certification)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of successful teaching experience (administrative experience preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to lead and support instructional improvement and student achievement
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
  • Knowledge of Ohio’s academic content standards, graduation requirements, and assessment systems
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful school climate

Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay and benefits competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • 225-day contract to begin August 1, 2025.  The ability to be available in June and July to facilitate any staff hiring would be beneficial.
