Putnam Heritage Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and contributing to the overall success at our facility. DUTIES:
– Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
– Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
– Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
– Update patient records in a confidential manner
– Evaluate the patient’s well-being, reporting any needs to medical staff
– Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
– Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
– Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys
REQUIREMENTS:
– Current LPN license in Ohio
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Completion of a licensed practical nurse program.
– Experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
– Commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting healthy lifestyles.
– Experience in medication administration
– Experience in administering injections
SALARY:
$26-$29 an hour
