Additional Responsibilities / Duties:

• Setting up metalworking equipment including drill presses, flame cutters(plasma/laser).
• Checking designs specifications before commencing with cutting work.
• Familiarity with sheet metal flat patterns preferred.
• Possess some knowledge of and ability to identify fabrication industry metals.
• Performing quality checks on completed products.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment and structures as needed.
• Apply basic math skills to measure and calculate material quantities.
• Emphasize good habits such as cleanliness, organization, and keeping a clear list of items to stay busy.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Some drawing and reading comprehension skills.
• Experience operating power tools, miscellaneous hand tools, and equipment in a safe and efficient
• manner.
• Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Warehouse experience, including inventory management and material handling procedures.
• Basic math skills to accurately measure materials and calculate quantities.
• Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
