The Putnam County Department of Job and Family Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Social Services Support Specialist to join our team. POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Perform data entry and maintain the file system.
• Determine eligibility for foster children.
• Support caseworker activities for PRC and KPIP cases.
• Follow up with required recertifications.
• Coordinate and communicate with the Social Security Administration regarding eligibility and payments for youth in custody.
• Process and track all shared funding activities.
• Handle annual redetermination for AA/SAMS subsidies.
• Manage foster care payments, auxiliary payments, residential treatment/congregate care payments, and expenses for children in foster care.
• Assist with fingerprinting.
• Process quarterly reports and provide clerical support as required.
