Overview

Technicon Design Group is actively seeking an experienced, registered structural engineer to join our growing practice in northwest Ohio.  Our firm offers unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth by offering a wide range of project responsibilities and leadership roles.  In this role you will have the ability to work on a diverse set of projects ranging from commercial to mixed-use to multi-family.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, motivated individual with the ability to either work from our northwest Ohio office or work remote via Microsoft Teams. Responsibilities include the follow,

• Design: Working with a team of Architects and Designers to develop structural plans for new buildings and renovations.
• Analysis: Calculating loads, stresses, and deflections on various structural elements including beams, columns, and foundations.
• Materials Selection: Assigning appropriate building materials based on project requirements, considering factors like strength, cost, and sustainability.
