Exciting things are happening at Atalys Ottoville! We are adding Shift Supervisor’s in anticipation of growth!

We are an Injection Molding operation, producing life-saving medical devices. The Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the injection molding process during their assigned shift. This role ensures that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. The Shift Supervisor will lead a team of operators and technicians, ensuring efficient operation of molding machines, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consults with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operations reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.
• Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
• Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.
• Consults with engineering personnel relative to modifications of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
• Compiles, stores and retrieves production data, using computer.
• Maintaining safe work environment by implementing 5S processes.
• Monitor and audit the production floor.
• Adheres to the Quality Policy and Core Values of the organization.
