Village of Leipsic, located in Putnam County, Ohio, is seeking a full-time waste water plant operator.  Starting pay is $20.50 but can be adjusted if applicate has previous experience in related field and additional licensing and Waste Water certificates. CDL is preferred, but not required.  Benefits includes medical insurance, OPERS retirement, vacation and sick leave.

Listed below are a few of the responsibilities, but not limited to;

• Responsible for assisting the superintendent as needed for the completion of all lab and reporting needed at the waste water plant.
• Obtain require licensing to operate Waste Water Plant within 12-month period after hire.
• Must obtain a CDL to operate all vehicles owned by Village within 12-month period after hire.
• Responsible for completing any maintenance assigned by the Superintendent at the Waste Water Plant.
• Assist with snow removal in the Village. Responsible for clearing the driveway at the waste water plant.
• Serve as the first call for any general maintenance item needed at Village buildings.
• Assist all Village departments as needed under the direction of the Waste Water Superintendent.
• Will work on the weekend and holiday schedule of the water and waste water departments.
• Complete any other task assigned by Village leadership.
