Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety and responsibility, balancing project oversight with project management tasks. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects, assisting with design work, coordinating construction, and supporting municipal grant and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and track multiple engineering and surveying projects simultaneously.
– Prepare and issue invoices; maintain financial records using QuickBooks.
– Provide construction management support, including project coordination and communication with contractors and clients.
– Research, draft, and manage grants and procurement for municipal projects.
– Assist with CAD design and drafting for a range of engineering and surveying projects.
– Maintain organized project files, schedules, and deliverables.
– Serve as the point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and service.
– Support general office operations and administrative needs.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred, not required).
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
– Strong working knowledge of CAD software.
– Experience with Intuit QuickBooks for invoicing and accounting.
– Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
– Prior experience in engineering, surveying, or construction-related fields is highly desirable.
