
Job Overview
A CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) Technician assists installing seamless, resin-saturated liners inside damaged underground pipes to rehabilitate them without digging, utilizing UV light. Responsibilities include cleaning, inspecting, and lining pipes while operating specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality, long-lasting trenchless repairs.
Duties
Pipe Preparation & Cleaning: Camera inspection, jetting, and clearing obstacles before lining.
Liner Installation: Inserting, inflating, and curing resin-saturated liners inside existing pipes.
Operating Specialized Equipment: Running UV light to harden the liner.
Camera Inspection: Using cameras to document the condition of the pipe before and after installation.
Requirements
Experience:
Previous experience in CIPP lining, pipe rehabilitation, plumbing, or excavation preferred but not required.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to learn and operate camera systems, curing equipment, and heavy machinery.
Physical Stamina: Capability to lift, carry, and pull heavy equipment (often 50+ lbs) and work in outdoor environments.
Certifications: Valid driver’s license
Teamwork & Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with crew members
Projects can include residential, commercial, and municipal sewer or water systems.
